Now that the Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) regulations on European countries have been fully rolled out, the 3D Secure (3DS) confirmation step on checkout has become mandatory.
Subbly’s checkout is built in a way in which subscribers will save the card before the actual charge happens as far as some of the charges are actually planned for a future date. Thus, the 3DS displays a 0.00 amount, which may confuse some customers.
To avoid confusion, we’ve added an optional message that warns subscribers that the 3DS step will display a 0.00 amount, and that it is the expected text and nothing to worry about.
