We've made major updates to the AI Builder UX this week, better integrating it with Subbly's Admin.
Here's what's new:
Your project, front and center
- The focus is now your main website (project) - the one that's published, among several other projects you might have in your account. When you open the builder you'll automatically be directed to the project you last worked on.
Work faster with mode switching and better navigation
- New Account widget similar to the admin, with AI Builder functions. It allows you to switch between projects, Light/Dark mode and the AI Models. More options for checking credit balance, top-ups, etc, soon to be added.
- The build vs manage toggle, makes it easy to switch between build mode (AI Builder) and manage mode (Admin). Toggling between the modes moves you between the screens seamlessly, remembering where you left off.
- Access to all types of products, metafields, surveys and the app store within the AI Builder nav. It's now possible to get straight to the product creation flow with presets from within the Builder, saving you time and effort.
Enhanced build and preview experience
- Version history, and some less common buttons now moved below the prompt composer for convenience. The preview window and controls were overhauled, the experience is now faster and generally “tighter”.
- New full screen, mobile and tablet preview modes.
- The project settings button has been moved to the top right next to the account widget.
- “Deploy” is now called “Publish”, given it's more familiar term.
