Cancellation Type Setting: Immediate or End of Period

You now have more control over how subscription cancellations behave. A new

Cancellation type

setting is available in

Advanced Settings

with two options:

Immediate
(default) — Cancellations take effect right away.
End of period
— Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, allowing subscribers to continue enjoying their benefits (member discounts, exclusive content, etc.) until their paid period ends.

Automatic end-of-period enforcement

For certain subscription types, cancellations will always be applied at the end of the billing period regardless of your selected setting:

Committed subscriptions
— If cancelled before the commitment is fulfilled.
Gift subscriptions
— If gift limits are exceeded.
Prepaid subscriptions
— If charge limits are exceeded.

Previously, cancellations in these scenarios were applied immediately after the last payment was processed. They will now correctly expire at the end of the billing period instead.

dropdown.
