Ability to choose a time zone of your store

We need an ability to choose a time zone in order for billing of the customers to flow more seamlessly. Since all of our customers are re-billed on the 1st of the month, due to the time zone differentiation some of them end up charged on the last day of the month, and some of them gets charged on the 2nd of the month.
We need this sorted with specifying time zone we're in.

This is now possible. Feel free to specify the time zone of the store from inside main admin > Settings > General

I would also investigate the ones being billed on the 2nd, if anything these may be due to failed payments that succeed on retry. The time zone we use is UTC so if you’re in the stated / America, then it would be more likely last day of the month if anything. The 2nd suggests delayed or failed payment due to multiple factors. I’d maybe check the logs on your Stripe account or ask them!

I also think it’s worth noting we specifically utilise the Stripe subscription API and they do have their own logic and timelines for handling billing, so due to that we’re going to be building our own billing engine eventually for more control over things like this.
For now time zone might mitigate this a bit but doesn’t guarantee it due to Stripe being a factor and having their own rules / logic.

Stefan Pretty: We also have three subscriptions through Cratejoy and use Stripe, and have never had this issue. This is only an issue with our Subbly/ Stripe subscription, not our Cratejoy/Stripe subscriptions.
