We don't have a way of being able to include these messages — so I'd rather customers not have the option of adding the message at all.

I want customers to be able to order gifts, but I don't have the capability to include gift messages. Can you create a way to turn off the option for customers to write gift messages?

Hey Jacob Jordan, thanks for your request. We are going to improve gifting experience later this year, appx end of Q3. We will take your request into consideration as well.

You can do this in the product setup I believe, there’s a toggle at the bottom ‘is this a gift?’ Or something like that. Turn it off 🙂 also you can see the gift message in the order export csv. We currently use a mail merge to print these out but you could manually write the from the csv if not

Emily Herriott on the off chance you see this since this post is so old, can you explain how you do this mail merge? This seems like it would be a good solution but I can't figure it out! Thank you.
