Auto Update of orders when preferences change

My subscriptions are based on sizes in a subscribers preference. When a 3 month or 12 month subscriber changes their size in their preferences, It won't repopulate until the next renewal.

Is there a way to auto populate these changes in real time

Is there any update on this? I noticed it was marked as under review. I too would like it if when subscribers update preferences it automatically updates the inventory as well or at least have an option for this, so we can ensure we have enough inventory stock when the subscription rolls over
