Please let us remove the Subbly branding!

$216 / month in Australia to remove Subbly branding, lordy!!
Before the Subbly plan changes, you could buy an add-on called "whitelabel" which let you remove the Subbly branding on checkout and surveys. We used to have it.
Now you need to pay $159 / month US, which is $216 / month in Australia to remove Subbly branding: https://www.subbly.co/pricing
It costs $2 a month for a custom domain, can we please just have a similar option for branding again?
P.S. I understand squeeze plans, but we pay $55 / month I believe, plus sales cuts, surely that's enough to allow us to have our own branding? Every other software company I've used removes branding as soon as you pay, so yeah.
Cheers,
Adam

Hello everyone, thanks for sharing your comments and concerns!
We are always discussing these things and reviewing them. I can understand that for some people this might be more of an issue than for others and that it can be seen as being distasteful, so I decided to take the time to explain our stance.
But before I do, the good news is that we're working on some things that will allow for more options when it comes to the customisability and branding. And we will likely "mute" the logo on the checkout to a text link instead, but we will likely continue to only allow full white labelling on our top plan(s). It's quite common practice, although on our next pricing review we will discuss which plan this will start on.
As a bootstrapped startup it's important that we continue to keep growing, to allow us to keep improving the product for you :). Having credit links is very common place and gives us extra exposure which contributes to growth, it creates network effects, so when we remove the credit links to offset the loss of exposure by removing it, the increase expansion revenue helps us to achieve growth in a different way. It's a simple and logical trade off. Aside from all the other value that's unlocked on the higher plans (side note: if you don't think the higher plans unlock more value, please let us know, it's really important that we are getting this right!).
In terms of pricing, we truly believe Subbly is great value for money (if you don't agree let us know!), even on the top plan it's a steal compared to the total cost with all the plugins you'd need on Shopify. The cost of developing and maintaining a custom solution is monumental and that is one of the main reasons Subbly exists. It's also worth noting that the cost of running a business online is going up which is to be expected, and SaaS prices are steadily increasing which also impacts us as we depend on SaaS services as well. We're always evaluating our positioning in the market, and we will always aim to make sure we're competitively priced, but our goal is to create the perfect solution for subscription businesses that provides huge value and enables you to succeed at running your businesses. The cost of Subbly realistically will be a fraction of the cost of running your business when you compare it to the cost of advertising and marketing tools such as email marketing platforms.
I hope this helps clear things up, but the door is always open for further discussion. We'll update this when we have completed the work referred to above.
Best,
Stefan

This is just an update, PLEASEEEE remove this guys.
We are actually now losing sales. I saw it myself today watching someone sign-up as they clicked the Subbly icon ...by accident in our case, which links to Subbly (opens in new window) instead of buying our subscription.
If you want to try it, click any dog plan here:
Pease try on mobile, it's super bad (screenshot attached to show)
....and it's as bright as our button so what do you expect!
This makes NO sense for a paying customer, is absolutely shocking UX and ....well, it's now clear that it's taking sales away from us. We're paying customers guys!! I would understand this on a free plan but common.
Please fix guys, customers actually being taken out of our signup process is really not cool - and we may have lost a whole stack of sales I am guessing, especially on mobile.
See photo.

Subbly requests: Hi Subbly team, could the link not be slightly moved away from the 'NEXT STEP' button, and the NEXT STEP button made slightly bigger or say CONTINUE or simimar instead? :) just a thought... :)

Hi there. Your concerns about Subbly branding make a lot of sense. However, we are planning lots of improvements to our white labeling, including emails customizations. Also, we have not limited the possibility to customize the checkout appearance. Moreover, Subbly's logo on the checkout is grey, as well as its background which makes it almost not noticeable.

Andy🤠: Please see latest reply, it's not grey man, and it's losing us sales.

I sent an email about this. I understand and support the new strategy, and I really like SUbbly and how responsive their customer service is, but service is, but this just feels icky. "Logo removal" isn't a "feature" which is why it feels so dissatisfying and disappointing to have to pay effectively $150 to have it removed. It should be part of "Subbly" tier.

Raph: Totally agree, it's icky.
I also think Subbly are shooting themselves in the foot as people will use the platform as a temporary system until they can afford a custom system, as the costs to remove all of the Subbly branding is crazy.
Andy🤠
Subbly requests: I can not agree with you. Development of a custom solution will be way more expensive and time-consuming, also don't forget about its support.
We still believe that our branding on checkout is tiny:) and the possibilities of the white-labeling suite will be more powerful with time.

Please see latest comment, the Subbly logo is a link that opens he site in a new window, taking people completely out of our sales process.
I love the subbly support too, but we honestly can not be paying silly amounts on ads, software etc to lose sales by this - that is not at all needed.
We did not even realise this was a link until today, so we are now very upset at how many sales may have been lost Andy.
