Agreed, this is the most difficult part of setting up a shop. Every variant of every product needs to have its own shipping set up individually. It is incredibly time consuming. We have close to 100 items in our shop, not counting variants. A simple bulleted list of categories right in product setup would be great. We use the same shipping price for all our tshirts, another price for stickers, another price for pet treats, and another for one time boxes. We may have 6 or so categories to choose from if it was set up this way. Right now, we have to scroll through hundreds of products and variants to try to find the ones we just added, and the pictures are super tiny. We often miss one and end up sending products without shipping added.

It’s very tedious. Seems like the best place to set the shipping rule for a product is on the page where you create the product.
